Finally, spring has come to Stoney Creek! I started painting this colorful little hummingbird while sitting out on my deck yesterday because it was so nice outside, but I ended up finishing it later on inside because the breeze kept drying my paint too fast. My little neighbor Connor, who is 2 and 1/2 watched me in facination as I worked on it. He is my gardening buddy and happily takes all of the snails out of my garden for me to add to his "collection" I think I will give this to his mom who loves her garden and who is a good friend of mine.

The surface of this wasn't as smooth as I would have liked so it didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it too. Hope you like it anyway!
