The type of blues you've used works well with these greens and yellows. I really like the lighting you do in your forest paintings, they've always got a slightly mysterious feel to them. The water is nice, but the leaves really stand out. Really good work.

LOVE the trees! With acrylic do you paint dark to light or light to dark?

Thank you very much ! I paint dark to light with acrylics. Which is why (I think) I have alot of trouble switching over to watercolor..lol..I have to rethink everything I do..lol. I tried 300lb paper by the way..you were SO right...I'll never go back

I knew you would love it I think going from dark to light would be an advantage and why your trees and leaves in this painting are SO exceptional! Also your skies are to die for I have thought of trying acrylic but I am just so in love with watercolour, but ya never know...
