do you have one with a red close botton highlight, "X" and blue min/max? the only thing im not feeling is the yellow close button highlight

do you need restorator 2007, photoshop and a lot of patience.
search on google for restorator download and install it, download my theme, open the .msstyle file on restorator by dragging it to the app, locate the stream folder and expand it, drag png file to the desktop, edit it on photoshop and drag it back to the stream folder, than save and use it. good luck

Thanks a bunch, I have used this pretty much since its inception, but after a re-install, I couldn't get it to work on my 32-bit 7 ultimate. I dont know why, files are patched and I have rebooted. I will try again tonight as things have been acting very screwy lately. Anywho, thanks again This is what Microsoft should have done in the first place.

desculpe a demora. eu uso o restorator 2007 para extrair os icones e colocar de volta. e uso o icoFx 1.6 para editar os icones.

shellstyle is the DLL that controls some components of Windows style as the preview pane
is inside the theme folder, and you need programs like the retorator 2007 or reshacker and some knowledge.

Thanks for making a theme that's managed to not irritate me after a few minutes/hours of looking at it. Everything else out there has had some oversight or annoyance with it that gets on my nerves and makes me run back to the default aero style, which I'm getting pretty sick of...

Be sure that you have copy your file in /windows/resources/themes. Then reboot.

How do I edit the shell in another theme. I found that image (903 in your theme) and I injected it into another theme. It still displays the old shell, which is surprising seeing as how the image it's showing at the info panel of windows is nowhere to be found within the msstyles file. Thanks- and to be sure I'm running this on an x64 Windows 7 RTM machine and the theme works, maybe above needs uxtheme patch?

if you are using a modified theme, the theme maybe using an image inside the shellstyle.dll
You need a uxtheme patch to use any modified theme
