"No? Ohh I feel so sorry for you."So the other night I was looking through a TON of Mary Blair work in the attempts to find a piece for my Art Analysis paper. Alot of stuff I found was pre-production/production art for two of my favorite movies Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros. (I ended up choosing a bit of pre-production art from Cinderella in case you were wondering.) So this is the result, I had the urge to draw good Ol' Jose Carioca!
Which Ironically isn't my favorite, Panchito is my true love from The Three Caballeros, but I had never really tried to draw Jose, so I thought it would be a good challenge!
Done in: Ballpoint Pen, Prismacolor Markers, touched up with Prismacolor pencils.

Ohhh, I adore Jose Carioca. Idon't know why, but he really struck the right note with me. (Maybe it's the Portugese. In fact I'm sure it's the Portugese but he's got a great character design too...)
