Description
Years ago, there was a man who lost his family in a big war. Every day he waited for his wife and child but they had never come again. But the death was just standing in front of his door and took him away to a last journey through his past. And then something strange happened.A film about a man, who lost everything in his life but he never gave up till the end.

I think the story is about the old man's forthcoming death... And his only wish is for him to see his daughter again(based on the picture? I'm not sure...). They might have been separated (because of a war? Again, not sure...)When he sees his daughter again, he entertains death with open arms. It's like he's saying "I'm ready to go, I've already seen my daughter", thus the "Light" and the door he sees at the end.

But it's strange cause the crooked tree and pumpkin and the castle with naked dead bodies hanging makes no sense of the forthcoming death. Can you explain that please? I'm still blur ><

I think... (not really sure XD) those naked hanging bodies refer to the old man's comrades(?) during the war... or battle(?) thus, castle... pumpkin... (it occurred during Halloween?) haha not sure. XD

From the moment the clock tolled for him to go, I felt that this masterpiece was going to move me, and I was right. The dramatic transitionf from the shady beginning to the bright end was what I enjoyed the most.

the scene just before the one that just started, when the man steps into a mordor-like place with the gray tone, i love that feel. from the dummy sack[?] hung from the tree, to that castle, to the landscape, and i owe it to you on the color of the water. that stood out to me.

Now if this had to have been a film then there would have been no doubt that I would have cried.
Very nice style and a touching sort of 'story' with great atmospherical music.

the overall idea was touching and emotional i liked the concept but felt some of it was amateurish and then i thought and realized how well dome it really was, so cheers[:

this was... well... beautiful wouldn't even begin to describe it. It's very rare when something brings tears to my eyes and makes me feel so inspired, and yet this deviation managed to do it everytime I watched it. The fact that it was stop motion animation is a plus for me. not to mention the music was perfectly used.

... This made me cry more than I've ever cried. My grandpa died last christmas but I was way too depressed from what happened before to feel much for my grandpa. I feel like he died such a humble way, not like my grandpa should have died, not like the greatest man I will ever know should. R.I.P.

I'm still kind of confused about it. You obviously had vision, when this was made. The music is certainly emotive and lends a sense of beauty and sadness to the film. But mix of medias bugged me - the 3D was definitely unpolished against the stop-motion, and did you use stock images as well, for the skies? I'm not exactly sure how long stop-motion takes, but why didn't you model those trees from clay? Or that pumpkin man? 3D takes skill, too, but the fact you only modeled your protagonist in stop-motion seems more like a short cut than an effect meant to draw your focus in the film. Still, it was interesting, and I hope you continue in the future with more intriguing projects.

There's no sound. Not just on this but on any devart vids. I wonder why... when the sound comes back I'll watch, it looks pretty good.
