Description
So I made another Attack On Titan Oc -3- and this time it's a male! Can you believe it guys? XD okay so this is just a work in progress, so it's all just concept ideas for now, no colour at the moment. I'll just make a list here- His name Is Henrik Lazarev
- 18 years of age
- German/Russian
- Soldier of the Garrison Regiment
- A Titan shifter. But he uses his Titan form way less then any other Titan shifter would, to the point that people forget that he was even one in the first place.
- Although his Titan form can really fight, he is still not as super strong as Eren Yaeger's Titan form or some of the other Titan shifters. His purpose mainly is to act as backup. But despite this, his Titan form surely is a big advantage in helping to defend the walls
- Very good with defense tactics. As well as some knowledge of hand to hand combat as well.
- When he first joined Garrison, he was shocked at how the soldiers there ended up lazy. He was determined to find a way to change all of that and bring dignity back. After the fall of Walls Maria, he was determined to help Garrison get back on its feet.
- In his Titan form, he is actually very humane in character, despite his fearful appearance. However at first he almost lost his mind when first transforming, to the point that his fellow comrades have to help him. Unlike the Dancing Titan, he can't speak.
- He is in love with Millie Solomon, a girl who is a helper and assistant to Keith Shadis/Sadies. They are actually quite good friends at first, but he is too nervous to confess to her, so he always misses his chance occasionally.
- although he is glad that most of the male soldiers wouldn't dare flirt with her because of her position and connection to Keith, ( flirting with her is like getting on his bad side ) he still is nervous to talk to her sometimes because he himself is also afraid of the commander
- Mille Solomon actually plays a big role in his first Titan Transformation. If anyone was seen to have harrased her, or a Titan was going to attack her, he'd go into a rage. On his first transformation, he used his gestures and noises to communicate, demanding that Millie be brought to him. He wouldn't trust anyone until he knew that she was alright. He would have gone crazy if it wasn't for the girl.
- Even as a Titan, he still managed to show affection for Millie more than any emotion a Titan could show. His Titan form basically amplified the bond between her. To reassure her, he even gently touched her cheek with his finger when he was in shock.
Still need to find a name for the Titan and to find a backstory for him that isn't so cliche, but unique

If I may I give you my thoughts regarding your OC
As I don´t know if you actually follow the SnK manga, I will not reference to any information that is (up until this day) found in the manga.
I like the fact that you put him into the garrison. It is refreshing to see that for once an Original character is NOT put into the Survey Corps. I personally find this choice much more realistic and understandable.
What I do dislike, and this is not to hurt anybodys feelings, is the whole titan shifter thing. I would love to see a regular human OC. No shifter whatsoever. I understand the enthusiasm of creating your own titan form, own abilities and so on and so forth. But still, it´s something I just cannot go with.
And wow, you pair him up (or at least give him romantic affections towards) another OC? That´s is quiet admirable, as pretty much 90% of all OC´s exist for the sole reason of being shipped with either Levi, Erwin or Eren. <.<
Also, yay for bringing in my personal fav. Keith Shadis! From what I get from the description, Shadis kind of acts like an father figure? If so, that would be awesome. Please do me a favor and do not misinterpret his character as being just a mean bully/asshole, like so many OC-creators describe him as
So, from what you have now, I like this OC. You already avoided the big clichés of making him an Ackerman, or having a conncetion with The Jaegers or being a rivial to humanities strongest. If you flesh out your titanshifter Idea, I do believe that you create a valuable OC

Ah thankyou! Yeah I can understand your points, and I am actually glad you pointe some things out because it got me thinking of a few things
Well some info did change last minute, like you said I think Keith Shadis would be like a father figure this time, but the female Oc he's in love with is just going to be a normal citizen. I transferred her traits of being an assistant to Keith and actually viewing him as not bad at all also into another Oc called Milena, who is paired with Armin this time.

It´s completly understandable that you created this OC for your own FF. There is nothing wrong about it. But be aware that some people.. do take really big issues with all this shifter thing.
Ah yes, I saw that OC. While at it, I may just give my thoughts about this one as well
So, again her connection to Keith is something that already makes her stand out. Shadis is either forgotten easily, or just present to show how incredible awesome the OC is and not even this hardcore instructor can break them down. As long as you do not exaggerate his character in a bad way, Im on-bord with him playing a part in the story.
Love interest, while a canon, is still something unqiue as it is Armin. How many OC do you see that get paired up with him?
Their personalities in terms of logical thinking and intelligence seem to match, which would make a relationship beliveable. Also, she is, at least I assume it, like Armin not a strong fighter but more the brain.
Its good that you note that Armin is way more intelligent than her, this way you avoid people call her out for being hyper intelligent.
Maybe flesh out her background more, and I think you are good to go with her

Ah this Oc was not made for a fanfiction, because I never had one
Yeah, I also try to make this MilenaXArmin Couple balanced. There are certain things that she might not know, but he does, so he might help or teach her or she would just ask for help. In turn, whatever he doesn't know or needs help with something, she will willingly return the favor. I'm thinking that she's also responsible enough to actually teach a few fellow soldiers how to have extremely good accuracy and aim.
For some reason as a headcanon, I think that slowly they secretly start to have feelings for each other, both admiring their qualities. That or either Armin secretly develops feelings first, but she just doesn't see it yet.
Ah and oh yeah, no I feel like that Keith actually means well. When they have a conversation of certain things, like when she considered being a soldier, he showed concern and told her that she is better off not being a soldier and experiencing the hell soldiers have to go through with the titans. I think to the point that he even says that she is a good daughter and her father raised her well. IM not sure if that is out of character, but that's he tough plan so far
