Dotty Dog, spirited, smart, and impulsive with a powerful punch.
Getting along can't be accomplished in one day for some.
Inspired by a scene in the anime series "Kare Kano" or "His and Her Circumstances"
...where Yukino the "perfect" girl meets Arima the "perfect" boy...with sparks flying at first.

Hahaha. It looks to me like poor old Zipper was just about to say something nice to her but she wouldn't let him.

...or Zipper is showing that waterfront attitude which Dotty doesn't care for.
The "Kare Kano" anime inspired scene was from episode #3 when seemingly perfect Arima confesses to his academic rival and girlfriend Yukino about his not-so-perfect past and putting up a "front" for his "perfect" high school image to cover up. Yukino slugs him to snap him out of his funk and tells him to be himself, after she tears down the phony high school sweetheart image of her own the episode earlier. Falling in love and becoming human.
