I don't even know what a mesh gradient is. Does it have something to do with 3D?
I did use gradients on her but they are photoshop gradients. I make a mask with the pen tool, make it into a selection, then fill with a gradient.

seams like a slower way to do gradient mesh heres a tutorial not that you need it tho your work is awesome!

lol my wife was sitting there and shes like you didnt send the link... i was like yes i did well here it is lol [link] there are heaps of different ones out there if you google gradient mesh tutorials i like to cross reference as people don't often explain things in the best way, its a big hard getting used to it bet yeh its nice, you have awsome work hope one day i will be able create such nice pieces of art
