Description
"A Dark Undercurrent" -- line art in pen on paper, free hand colored digitally in Corel Painter on Intuos 3 tablet. For Enchanted Visions Project's existing theme of the same title.This is my last piece of 2011, and my 20th piece for the Enchanted Visions Project. I'm slowly catching up -- I think I may have only 7 old themes left now.
A dark (evil?) mermaid~
After "Circe", I was going to jump right into "Dragon Lore", but when I sat at my desk with a blank sheet of paper, this one appeared. When a mermaid comes out of nowhere to 'pose' for you, you simply must go with the flow and paint her.
I've been wanting to do this theme for a while, so it worked out wonderfully. And the next month's theme "Dragon Lore" isn't due until the middle of January, which leaves me plenty of time (or so this procrastinator thinks).©2011 Mitzi Sato-Wiuff/Aruarian Dancer
