Ink & watercolor on vellum (140 lb) 5" x 7". This size feels much more reasonable than ACEO (2.5" x 3.5"), but I wouldn't mind going larger. There are times when I feel as if I'm walking on a tight rope when I work in the details at this size. I think I stop to blink at times like that and it's not a good thing considering I wear contacts. XD Anyhow, I might be doing a poppy series of this size, going through the different colors one by one. Poppy is already a recurring theme for me along with owls and masks. Still experimenting with this new style and I have to say... I'm actually happy with it.

I originally started this piece with the upcoming auction event at another art collective that I belong to in mind, but I ended up spending way more time on it than I planned on spending, so I'm not going to be auctioning her off after all. lol I'll just have to paint something else.
