Description Edit: Just tweaked a few things here and there to make it stronger.

Just doing a sketch to try and apply some of the things i learned this week in class. Im trying to work in this trippy concept called, The Opposite Rule of Light and Shadow, into my work. Im starting to get the hang of it i think. Taking still life painting and heads and hands is like the best combo ever. Cant wait to take figure painting. Will get better next week.

Its kinda tricky to explain. To put it as simply as i can: The brightest planes in light become the darkest planes in shadow. This making the darkest planes in shadow become the brightest planes in light. The darkest planes in light also become the brightest planes in shadow. I know its kinda hard to wrap your head around. Ahh okay, I think I get it. I suppose the tricky part is figuring out which surfaces would be on the same plane, and then presumably equalling out all the spaces in-between.
