Weapon design for the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate weapon design contest. The winner’s weapon actually gets put into MH4U. Pretty cool prize if you ask me. Most entries I saw were just weapons that were supposed to look cool, which Monster Hunter already has in spades. So I went for something more unique and goofy.More Monster Hunter

Kinda reminds of that Thunder type Hammer from Monster Hunter G. You needed Thunder Bugs to make it and looked like a cage with Thunder Bugs inside.

How does the weapon work?
Does the bird's cry demoralise your opponents?
Or do they surrender out of sympathy for the bird haha?
I'm just looking at it and thinking the cage will break when you hit something with it XD.

They put a pig with a crown on a throne that you utterly demolish your enemies with.
I think putting a bird in a cage that you spin around like crazy would be rather normal to them :/
