Hadn't drawn any dragons in a while, so here are some dragons. Some are brand new, some are updates of old designs i always wanted to redesign. Last post of 2012.1. Something Druddigon inspired

damn these are cool. my favourites are the crocagon, wind-drake, greater wyrm, spidralisk, and canopy dragon. i like the canopy's gecko-ness :3

these are wicked cool.
i find it very interesting that you place the flight muscles ahead of the arms; i've always placed them either at or behind the shoulder blade (no longer at the shoulder, not enough room for them), meaning they'd wrap around part of the ribcage.
i'm no expert on anatomy though, would you mind explaining your reasoning?

I generally find it more aesthetically pleasing to have the larger arms(wings) up higher on the body. The actual arms are less important and would be relegated to less movement to allow the wings a full range of motion. Though really when doing creatures, just make them look believable, otherwise just make them look cool

Nah i havent taken any of the animal/creature courses yet, though i would like to. Its been a nice vacation, just trying to get stuff done. Still doing blah commissions to pay for a replacement ps3 though. How bout you?

Doing alright, I guess. Am trying to get some work done, while figuring out the best way to transition my traditional work into digital (use scanner, camera, etc.) Camera does a nice job, but the light in my room is yellow, so of course everything else including my pictures turns yellow.
Really am just hoping to develop skills further and possibly start commissions since money is coming short.
