Lúthien cosplay, from a Tolkien meet.
*I only have some shots from the Tolkien meet as yet, but I plan on doing a more serious shoot during the Summer, nature included, of this cosplay and of others as well*

-Dress: Armstreet Lady of the Lake flax-blue linen dress. You can't see it here in its full glory, but it really is gorgeous, and very comfy. It also screams 'LÚTHIEN!' at me with that perfect flax-blue and all the golden flower motives in the trims. In love.

-Cloak: Lúthien's shadowy cloak, a black velvet cloak from ArtemisiaDesigns. Very beautiful as well, it's hooded and and lined with satin, and really voluminous. You can't really see it very well here...

-Shoes: Royal blue suede flats (that you can't see here).

-Hair: My own hair (mid-thigh length), with some bandanna waves at the ends. You can't see the hairstyle clearly here, but it's two 3-strand accent braids with leaves intertwined (I still have to find some fake flowers) and green crystal gems (don't have blue or golden ones, green didn't look so bad either), plus a beaded silver-and-cobalt thin circlet.

-No jewelry, except for the thin circlet. I've always imagined Lúthien as wearing gorgeous dresses but very little jewelrt apart from flowers and/or gems in her hair, like Tolkien describes her (or maybe a circlet).

-Make-up: Light powder, bit of contouring to enhance the cheekbones and make the face a bit longer (I haven't practised a lot with contouring though, so I kept it very light just in case. I'd like to enhance the cheekbones a bit more in the future). Blue mascara, a subtle shimmery copper shadow and dark cobalt eyeliner.

-I forgot the flesh-coloured plaster I use to create pointy ears at home...so no pointy ears in these pics. Ah well.
