So the years went by
I stayed the same
But she began to drift away
I was left alone
Still I waited for the day
When she'd say, "I will always love you"
Lonely and forgotten
Never thought she'd look my way
And she smiled at me and held me
Just like she used to do
Like she loved me
When she loved me

While she longs for connection and companionship, she is cautious and slow to let others into her inner circle. It takes time for her to build trust, but once she forms a bond, her loyalty knows no bounds.
Aisha's intelligence shines in her resourcefulness and adaptability. She possesses a cleverness that allows her to navigate challenging situations and find innovative solutions to problems. Her quick thinking and ability to assess her surroundings make her a valuable ally in times of need.
One of Aisha's notable strengths lies in her physical abilities. She is fast and agile, making her an excellent runner. Her speed allows her to navigate difficult terrains and escape dangerous situations. Additionally, her sense of smell is highly developed, granting her the ability to detect subtle scents and uncover important information.
However, Aisha carries a quiet resentment towards dogs who have loving owners. It stems from a deep sadness and longing for the affection and care she once received as a little puppy. Witnessing the bond between dogs and their owners triggers feelings of jealousy and guilt within her, as she wonders why she was not granted the same love and attention.
Despite her own hardships, Aisha possesses a compassionate and kind heart. She empathizes with the pain and suffering of others, extending her support and understanding whenever possible. Her experiences have instilled in her a sense of compassion for those who are also marginalized or mistreated. Aisha, at times, prefers solitude and introspection. Reserved: Aisha can be initially reserved when meeting new dogs, especially those outside the pack. She takes time to assess and evaluate others, carefully gauging their intentions before fully opening up. Negative Traits

Distrustful: Aisha's past experiences have left her with deep-seated trust issues. She finds it difficult to trust others easily and often keeps her guard up. While her cautious nature serves as a protective mechanism, it can also hinder her ability to form meaningful connections. That is why Aisha needs to learn how to navigate the delicate balance between self-preservation and allowing herself to be vulnerable to forge genuine bonds.
Guarded: Aisha tends to keep her emotions and vulnerabilities closely guarded. Her guarded nature is a result of her fear of being hurt or betrayed. While it protects her from potential harm, it also prevents others from truly knowing her. Aisha struggles to let others in, fearing that her vulnerabilities will be used against her.
Jealous: Aisha's resentment towards dogs with loving owners can occasionally manifest as jealousy. Witnessing the deep bonds between dogs and their caring owners triggers conflicting emotions within her. She longs for love and affection, leading to moments of envy and self-doubt. Aisha grapples with these feelings, recognizing that jealousy only serves to further isolate her from the connections she craves.
Stubborn: Aisha can be stubborn and resistant to change, particularly when it contradicts her own beliefs and values. Her stubbornness stems from a need to retain control over her life, as she has faced numerous situations where control was forcibly taken away from her. While her stubbornness can be a hindrance at times, it also reflects her resilience and refusal to be swayed by external pressures.
Self-critical: Aisha often holds herself to high standards and can be overly self-critical. She doubts her own abilities and can feel a sense of inadequacy. Aisha's self-critical nature arises from her desire to succeed and overcome her past struggles. However, it can also undermine her self-confidence and hinder her progress.
P R E - G R O U P H I S T O R Y
Aisha's journey began with her mother, Saba, a beloved pet who found herself abandoned. Cast aside by her previous owners, Saba, being pregnant at that time, gave birth to her puppies on the side of a lonely road. Thankfully, compassionate individuals passing by noticed their plight and contacted a local pet shelter, which promptly provided them with the care they desperately needed.
As time passed, Saba's puppies grew stronger and were ready for adoption. It was on one fortuitous day that Cassandra, a woman visiting the shelter for a different purpose, caught sight of Aisha. Aisha, the first of the litter to reach out to the young woman, immediately captured her heart. Overwhelmed by the sight of the adorable puppy, Cass impulsively decided to take her home, believing that she could provide Aisha with a loving and caring environment.
However, Cassandra's life was not without its own challenges. She shared her home with her boyfriend Jeremy, a man tormented by his own demons. Jeremy's struggles with anger and alcoholism cast a shadow over their lives, tainting the once-bright horizon with dark clouds of uncertainty. While Cassandra's initial affection for Aisha was genuine, she soon found herself overwhelmed by the challenges of caring for a growing dog. Aisha's transition from a cute puppy to a full-grown dog brought about a change in Cassandra's attitude. She gradually began to lose interest in Aisha, neglecting her needs and failing to provide the attention and love she once showered upon her.
As Aisha matured, she keenly sensed the shift in Cassandra's attitude. It became evident to her that her owner's initial attachment was based solely on her being a cute puppy. Aisha yearned for the affection and attention she had received in the past, but Cassandra's indifference left her feeling unloved and abandoned.
However as Aisha reached 2 years and lost her puppy charm completely, her being already a grown dog, tensions between Cassandra and Jeremy intensified. Jeremy, struggling with anger, developed even a deeper resentment towards Aisha but mostly because he developed it towards his own girlfriend. He believed that Cassandra had only taken Aisha because she was a little puppy, without considering the responsibilities and challenges of raising a dog as she grew.
Recognizing the toxic environment and the toll it was taking on her own well-being, Cassandra made the difficult decision to leave Jeremy. She knew that staying with him would perpetuate a cycle of pain and neglect, mainly for herself. In her departure, Cassandra needed to make the heart-wrenching choice to leave Aisha behind as she could not bring Aisha with her to the place she sought refuge, as her mother's house was plagued by severe allergies to dog hair.
Left behind with the person who despised her most, Aisha's existence turned into a hell. Jeremy decided to chain her outside near the dog kennel. He neglected her, often forgetting to provide her with food. When he did remember, it was mere leftovers he no longer wanted with stagnant water he was too lazy to change. Aisha endured lonely nights in her kennel, soaked by rain, developing quite a fear of storms.
As Jeremy's anger and resentment grew, he decided that he had finally had enough of Aisha. He took her in his car, driving her to a neighboring city, into the city of Canidale, and abandoned her on the streets. Aisha was left to fend for herself, becoming a stray dog until she found solace in the unlikely companionship of the Junkyard pack, a group of resilient dogs who found strength in unity.
