What is it? Is it really? Could it be? An anthro . . . ?Yeah, yeah. So this isn't going to become a new thing for me. But, she was an interesting challenge. I really didn't reference much at all (that would be why it's not so great . . . ) but I did look up a few things for the dolphin tail. I've never been able to drop them sideways . . . Anyways, this is Mariel, character of Boss_hoss on LiveJournal. She is an aquatic creature and is normally seen with seashells over her . . . Ahem, yes. I pushed my time limit, and didn't want to battle them, so I tried something a little different. And her belt is supposed to be golden pearls or bears, in case you're curious. So, she was a fun challenge and even though I don't think it quite worked out right, I am kinda happy with it. And I went a little hair-happy again . . .

Oh, there's definitely too much! There's only a handful of anthro artists who's work I actually love. But even so, I'm still not a fan and I won't be doing much of it at all! That'll make you happy!

Same here! I might say what I would hope to see, but i always finish with that. There is no love in art if you don't enjoy what you're doing! Everybody else can just take a flying leap, in the end . . .

Thank you! You can download it, to see the larger version, if that's what you mean by small. I wish I had done her bigger, or not done the background. The details around her hands and the cloth and stuff just aren't visible anymore. Not really in person either . . .

You certainly are good at doing anthro's.
I love the soft colours, they all flow very well together, and you pulled off the motion of the mane underwater too! I find that difficult to do.

Thank you! I really enjoy doing hair, and have challenged myself with it more than once! The thing to remember is that it doesn't move the same way, cause water is always moving in all sorts of directions. I wouldn't have thought I was good at anthros . . . I draw one like every couple of years and that's about it!
