Description
Torjieveron, or Torch for short, preparing to soar the windy skies. I liked the idea of having a fire-colored horse, even though there are no flame patterns on his coat or anything. His wings I think I love. I've been too close to this for too long, I'm seeing everything wrong with it. His head is too long, in case you're curious, and both his wings are kinda off, but I'm mostly happy with him anyway. I do love his colors!Anyways, done for ~Jimbobjaroo 's contest, to create a character from a name. Torch didn't sound like a name he'd be given at birth, hence his long name. Being impatient as he is, he's not fond of his birth name, which I'm thinking means "Fire of the Sky" in whatever language is spoken wherever he lives. Yeah . . .

Well, thank you! As for not liking them, most of them are full of anatomical errors, no lighting effects at all, among other things. Great learning experiences. And they were the best I could do at the time. I've just built upon what I knew then and improved . . .

Mine sucked for a long time. I made my biggest leap with Wraithguard, somewhere in the back of my gallery. After that, the improvement has been pretty steady. Taking an art class is what helped me make that big leap. I think classes are the best way to make significant improvements quickly. Although, it only happens if you work at it, and have a good teacher. But keep trying! You'll get there someday.

Well, I'm hoping you get a good one too! If you don't, just remember if they try to get negative with your work, that they don't know what they're talking about. That's the worst thing I hear of art teachers doing . . .

Man you think thats alot i had double the fine for a book that the library lost and blamed me for,just because it was on my card the last time it was checked out doesnt mean i didnt return it,they found it about a mounth later so now all i have to pay is 10 bucks.

That's about how big I'll let them get until I deal with them. I used to go to the library all the time, but I can never seem to get stuff in in time anymore. But it takes me forever to read a book now cause I just don't have time . . .

yea its sad but true.The thing with my library is they dont even have a thing for the books to go into if you use the droop box to return them.All you do is drop the books into a small metal slot at the side of the building and they drop into a big pile on the floor on the inside of a small room in the library.Im suprised they can find any book b4 its over due.All the bookx in that room sit there for a week b4 they are even messed with and by them all the books would be over duw its so stupid.

Wow! That's really pathetic actually. I think that library is in need of some remodeling! All of the libraries I go to are fairly new buildings. The previous libraries were too small for the growing city, so they've each built new ones in the last five or ten years.

I do seem to have head issues on a lot of my horses. I am beginning to notice this trend! At least I'm seeing it, though, right? One more way to improve . . . And thank you! I love fire-colors. They're so fun to work with! And I am happy you like those wings!
