And here finally is the colored version of my Kyogre gijinka!I actually changed up the line art a little when I was coloring so he has a full on coat now instead of just two shirts. I thought it looked better.
I tried a different way of coloring him and I rather like it.
The reason why I put two version up there is because my scanner is weird and scans either really bright which makes the detail fade out, or really dark, and you can see the detail.
I was just wondering which one you guys liked more.
Anyways a little info about him~
His name is Leviathan, but you can call him Levi
He has a biiiiiiiiig crush on Ziz, and he fights with Behemot all the time. When they're close to one another his markings glow red, instead of staying black.
He's an excellent swimmer!
And he of course loves sweets

so cool! well i like both light and the dark but i say go with the one thats closest to the original drawing before scanned. thats how you should look at it.

Niiice! Really love the final coloring on this. It looks a lot more solid and the values are really great. Definitely think the coat looks better too, the outfit makes more sense with it like that. I love those coat tails... C:
Personally I like the one with detail more. I suggest scanning it in like that and then doing a slight levels adjustment with Photoshop (or a similar program) to brighten it up without losing all that detail.

Coat tail are so awesome. I think a lot of my characters have some sort of tail-y thing to their shirt.
I also feel the coloring went over waaaaaaay better with this one too so I'll probably stick to it.
I thought the scanner had an adjustment like that but it doesn't. OTL
But thanks for actually answering the question, I'll try and see if I can adjust it with other things I upload from now on.

Yeah, keep it up. Looks so much nicer when you layer colors~ Makes them richer.
Hahaha, isn't it funny how some people skim right over bold text...? |D;;; But yeah, definitely just take it into some other software and adjust the brightness/contrast more subtly with it. :3

Yes the best in that is you can see pokemon in gijinkas very differently and it makes it beautiful because a kyogre can have millions of gijinkas

I try to make them different from what others do with them, because some of them start to look alike.
But I enjoy creating outfits for them so I think that's why I like making them so much.
