Description ever wonder where waves come from. . . well there are faries that dance and surff on top of turtles, pulling water making them as waves
or. . . so some of us wish that the world would be made that way
well it was fun doing this picture. .

took me around 6 hours with penil, colorpencils and ink

I knew turtles did a lot. Love the picture and love the idea behind it. The coloring is beautiful and you can feel the movement. The detail is great in it with the skirt and the flower on her foot and wrist. Keep up the great work.

LOL.. What an awesome idea! Let's see Brian Froud top that one! Surfing Fairies. Now there's a world I could be contented with. Awesome job with the water. Fluids like water, smoke and fire are often the hardest things to draw because they have no real definable boundaries. You really made that water look inviting.

What a cool concept! The wave is especially nice! I also really like the motion in the grass/seaweed skirt, and the colors are just lovely. My only crit would be the right leg... the perspective looks a bit off... like the thigh is too short. But it is a minor crit. Lovely pic!
