Description i'm finally finished!!! yay!!!
*piece made entirely in adobe illustrator with effects of blur and feather only.
this is for the up and coming Vector Community Project hosted by a number of friends are in it as well [link] so i'm very excited and very proud to be one of the few picked to be apart of this. this will be for the Month of May in a 12 month calendar spread, which also happens to be my birthday month. ^^ i himmed and hawwed over what to make and after getting requests from the last survey to do something you've never done before, and the possible pregnant woman. eh hemm.. ...(which to tell you the true i'm a little afraid of pregnant people.) (I know some that have gone through the change, and the change made them change..... ) *shudder* i like babies, but i never want to have one of my own. i have no ticking clock so time's not running out for lil old me anyways..i hope you enjoy this one, as i make it. ^^

"oh, there, we have see-through bellies
where we can, where we can
where we can watch all the miracles happening
and we can watch our organs clapping
and we can, and we can
and we can watch our bread dissolving
and we can watch our cells dividing
and we can see our babies floating
and we can watch them form from nothing
sit back and just watch them form from nothing"

Is your birthday really May 1st? Mine too
I thought I had you watched, but I just realised I don't see your work until the club posts them, so I'll fix that as soon as I'm done commenting here!

This piece is SO awesome!! The Lily of the Valley, her Emerald hair, even her finger and toe nails painted green...she looks like the Earth Mother herself Once again a brilliant piece of work, both in execution and in creativity. You always amaze me!

I only know one other May 1st baby, my best friend from high school, we're birthday twins, same year, same day, only about 2 hours apart...we were inseperable in high school and if I still lived in Houston, we'd still be, I reckon. Nice to find another May Day baby!! That's so awesome Oh OH and Tim McGraw (if you listen to any County music) is a May 1st baby...1967, my year also...'course I haven't met him *wishful thinking* lol
Annnnyway, so glad your Dell was able to finish your piece, it's truely so awesome

We do talk a lot still and email all the time and when I get home for a visit we catch up in person then. Going to do that again next year, hopefully I noticed you're in Phoenix! My older sister lives there, spent a week with her last year when I was home...gawd was it hot! lol
I was born at 10:05am

DomiSM In reply to Asher-Bee [2009-11-11 05:33:09 +0000 UTC]

Yep, I did..lol It was the only time I could take my vacation time from work, and I knew it would be awfully hot, but nothing prepared me for the heat of Phoenix...thank goodness for AC! Next time will definitely be during y'all's Autumn/Winter!

Asher-Bee In reply to DomiSM [2009-11-11 05:44:40 +0000 UTC]

geez!! don't do that any more... we moved here in the summer...NEVER DO THAT IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE we came at 117 degrees...and the car said it was 130 inside plus we bought a house that didn't have the air conditioner installed. it took a week of staying in hotels before it was put in.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DomiSM In reply to Asher-Bee [2009-11-11 07:11:46 +0000 UTC]

Wow, I can't imagine Arizone with no AC! I grew up in Texas mostly, and it's not exactly cool here in Australia either, so you'd think I'd be somewhat used to the heat, but the heat in Phoenix and in Vegas in mid-July was simply hellish..lol Where did you move to Phoenix from?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Asher-Bee In reply to DomiSM [2009-11-11 07:23:08 +0000 UTC]

Delaware.... there's snow in the winter and rain at least during the summer. but wow! what's in Australia that would make you move there? you've got a lot of poisonous pretties there..

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DomiSM In reply to Asher-Bee [2009-11-11 10:06:45 +0000 UTC]

I've never been up into the northeastern part of the US, but have heard Delaware is beautiful no matter what the season I love snow! I lived in Seattle for 8 years and never got tired of the snow or the rain
My husband is Australian...we met online back in early '95 in a Seattle BBS chat room, before the net was the net we know now I was in Seattle and he was here in Australia...he used Telnet, when that first started, to get into our chat room. He came to Seattle for 3 weeks over Christmas in '96, I came back here with him in January of '97, we were married in July of '97 I love it here except the heat...and those lovely poisonous pretties..lol I'm petrified of snakes and spiders *shudder*

Asher-Bee In reply to DomiSM [2009-11-11 19:34:42 +0000 UTC]

oh my! it's like the movie "you got mail" ^^ delaware can be pretty, but i lived in the major city where snow is only pretty for the first couple days...then you get dirty snow i will miss seeing it, but i won't miss shoveling it. i think we may have some poison pretties here... at least there are scorpions.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DomiSM In reply to Asher-Bee [2009-11-11 20:11:17 +0000 UTC]

hehe Yeah..I guess it's more common to hear that someone's met on the internet now...back then we were pioneers!
I guess I've never lived anywhere that I had to shovel snow...don't think I'd like that either! lol
Yeah you've got a few poisonous snakes and spiders yourself there..and scorpions. We have those too, so I found out recently, when a baby one was sitting on the window sill of my computer room and scared the bejeezus outta me! lol
Do you like Arizona? What took you there? That's quite a big climate change for you from Delaware!

i followed family, but with the whole job thing, i'm wondering if i made a mistake. i had a decent job that i left to come here and it's been four months. i'm hoping things pick up, because it's starting to depress me. i actually hope i get to see a scorpion...if no one's watching me, i might try and make it into a pet and smuggle it into my room. maybe call him freddy..freddy "fingers" scorpino.

DomiSM In reply to Asher-Bee [2009-11-11 22:03:46 +0000 UTC]

Aww, I'm sorry things aren't going well with work for you. Gosh with your talent, people should be beating down your door BEGGING you to come work for them!! Hang in there, get your name out there as much as you can, in any way you can, and you'll get something going. Four months isn't a long time really, although I know it can feel like it is sometimes. I just can't believe you don't have people lined up at your door!

Freddy "Fingers" Scorpion...lol what do scorpions eat? I think I'll stick with my finned, feathered and furred pets..lol

lol well i'd never touch him...i'm sure they east crickets or something they can't be that hard to take care of, but i've got a cat..... she may take advantage of him...heh heh heh.... Mr. Scorpione is very around here...
