so this is my part of the mythology project hosted by =CRcerberus ^^ the entire piece is done in adobe illustrator, and the brushes behind i earned as a prize package.
she's my very own version of sweet medusa, and i thought it fitting to have a mongoose as her personal pet.

Styles like the old cartoons, and the ones with like serious curves that make the character look really hippy or have a waist that looks like the character is going to split in half.

lol, right. it's not the experimental version. this one was done for a specific project...so there's not a lot of craziness to it.

I see that you like to experiment colors (as I do sometimes for chilling), but try to organize your ideas and gallery, it will give you the image of a great designer that you are : )

how would you suggest i organize my gallery or my ideas? ^^ again remembering that the client work that you've seen is not "experimental" and origianlly this was a gallery for fun. If it was for work, there definitely wouldn't be kitten pictures in there.

For example you cold try to create a folder named "my best works" and other named "experimental works"
and on the main page show just the best works.

goooorgeous, i love how liquid the clothes and hair look lol i kind of agree with shar about the background color, i understand the need to pop the character out, but i think you could have gone with a dirtier red or maybe a more toxic color like some sort of yellow or even a dirty blue.

I do prefer the darker version of this to the light version. Love the character, but I'm not so keen on the background I must say... it kind of detracts away from the character because of it being such a bold colour.

well thanks shar. ^^ i prefer this piece to the other, but i wanted to experiment with more facial expressions. for me, the red was working, mostly because i had the idea sitting in my head, and for some reason all the hues and different colors i tried around her, just seemed to lack something. i even tried a darker red, and it seemed dull for some reason.
