It had been another day in the Nook as Chime awoke in her bed, early in the morning as always. Kora had resided in the bunk above her, so she would give the bottom of the bunk a tap with her digits to wake her each morning.
"Kora, get up, Azimuth will be here soon!" Chime chirped as she sprung out of bed. No reply, of course. She scurried up the ladder to wake her sleeping purple friend up. "Kor-" She paused as she reached the top and saw that her friend had not been nestled in her bed. "...ra?" She finished her sentence as she leapt down and wandered out into the hallway. As she turned the corner she saw her friend sitting there. What was she doing there? It was unlike her to wake before the energetic tan gro. Then she noticed two beige splotches upon her face. Bandages. Something had happened. Chime quickly ran over to her, worry plastered upon her face.
"KORA!" She seemed to startle Kora as she skidded to a screeching halt beside her. "...The side of your face, what happened..."
She began to tell Chime of Grayson and how she had tried to help, but it had not revailed and he had turned and given her a nasty scar. Chime's face shriveled in disgust.
"I cant believe this gray gro would do this to you... What a disgusting wyngling." Her face turned to sheer disgust and hatred as she ran over what Kora had said in her head. She didnt deserve this. She was only trying to help. She didnt deserve it. Its not fair!
"I will not allow him to hurt you again, and when I find him, he will get what he deserves!"
