I love the little details in this. The bandage on his arm and the faint blood stains on his mask and the wraps on the handles of his katanas remind you that he wasn't taking it easy on his trip. I also love the ray of sunlight coming in. You did a great job with that and the smudged background looks really cool.

The faint smile on Leo's face as he looks at the picture just tells you that it's one of his family and probably one of his most precious items while he is away from them.

Exactly!
He might have taken a bit longer than they would have liked, but ultimately, he was doing it for them... So that he could return and be a better leader.
So I like to think that they would have occupied his thoughts, in every quiet moment that he got...
