It is so lovely how they all seem to wait for Raph to wake up. Itβs kinda like he promised them something after heβd taken a nap and they canβt wait for this moment.

And Iβm totally in love with the idea of those baby turtles. I mean, seriously, everyone of them is so unique (itβs pretty cool that they represent so many facettes: albinism, melanism, disabled and βnormalβ) Β and still they seem so harmonic. Thatβs great. What a beautiful scene.

The one who's using the picture is like talking to herself in the comments. And I really hate her edited version of the pic. She has no right to do just that! And she COMPLETELY ruined the pic, and used Ash's art!!

I agree. It makes me mad too. And on top of the fact that this is Ashi's art, these are my OCs and I've been developing them for a long time now. This is the first time someone has drawn them out for me and she takes them and messes them up.
It's people like this who cause artist to pull back from posting their work and/or place ugly watermarks over their work.

I'm sorry it took so long to reply. They recolored the pic, horribly, to use for their RPs on Facebook. The white one was colored neon green, they dirtied up the one who looks like Don and the one with a hearing aid was altered so the aid was gone and his eyes were colored in. It was so heartbreaking to see. And ugly.

I sent it's partner account (the one that apparently did the recoloring) a message to tell them that I thought it was gross, and that I don't appreciate their efforts.Β

Is the little one on Raph's chest deaf and blind? (I ask if the tot is blind because I don't see a pupil, but then again, the mini-Donnie-looking one doesn't have pupils either...)

Yes. He is deaf and blind but the implant helps him hear.

How did he come about? What made you decide to make him? (I've never even considered a blind and/or deaf turtle, so this is an awesome shock to me xD )

I've done a few fics and have a few more in the works were the Turtles have kids. These are the main four that I use when I do. In the first one I had him, Raph was made half female and didn't know so as the eggs developed he continued to drink. The other ones, it just happens that he is deaf and blind. As a writer I like to explore different emotional reactions. The one of a parent reacting to a disabled child is an interesting one to explore. The emotions, the guilt, and the over compensation.

I wish I could have seen what happened during the first few weeks or so of the babies' lives (I love newborn turtle stories), but T!Tots is pretty darn cute as well ^^ Yoshi is definitely my favorite xD
