In general, Dharma is as he always had been: full of smiles and energy. He loves to play around and make jokes to keep himself and others smiling. He's learned to thrive on grins and laughter from his friends and family. Given that he can get rough at times he normally means well. He isn't one to take things too seriously and doesn't get angry easily, unless the right buttons are hit of course. He's a man of his word and dripping with honesty. A good person to ask about any opinions on things. This can very easily make him appear blunt but he doesn't mind as long as the point is across. Dharma can also be very fixed on any choices to be made and any choices he has made. He has learned to allow some form of compromise if it is needed but generally still hates having to change his mind in things.
Sass still resides in this smart ass so beware of that. It can be in a sense of light fun or it can be in a sense of defiance and animosity. These are filtered for a select few that he has no choice but to be respectful with. Anyone outside of this circle should be prepared. His ego has somewhat died down into something that is just represented as arrogance. He boasts on where his family stands and doesn't want anything less than it. His interest and protection has been centered on his family as a whole, and he puts them first at all times. Anyone outside of his friends and family he tends to be a little cold towards if they are trying to get closer to him than just a surface level. Anyone that has reached a good friendship level with him he won't waste a second to take up for them.

Dharma has always been someone surrounded by those of the higher class. He had always been a part of it himself. Both he and his older brother were born in Reiphin where one of them currently remain. With his father being a noble he and his brother had always had everything that he needed. His parents kept the both of them spoiled and [attempted] to keep the both of them well educated. Their mother wanted her boys to be strong both mentally and physically, so she was very strict on them keeping into their books as they grew up. Dharma always treated it like a game, and never paid it too much attention. He was more interested in roughhousing and playing, but more importantly singing. This would frustrate his mother because she wanted to ensure that her sons followed their father in his class so that they could remain with all of the luxuries they currently had when they got older. Their father only saw light to this situation. While he did acknowledge the whole singing thing as a hobby, he saw more potential in his physical skills than anything, so he acted upon this. Dharma's study time was lessened while he was implemented a new training time to work on his physical skills instead. His brother remained entertained by more intellectual interests to follow out what his mother had originally planned for the both of them.
With his new training schedule a nice part of his life, Dharma was still drifting away for the life plan that his parents had set out for him. His father now planned for him to enlist and become some sort of knight or anything related to it, but Dharma was more interested in what he enjoyed doing what he wanted to. So he would take time to skip some of his study lessons to work on his instrumental skills. Around this time he was less and less interested in his educational abilities until the point that he had just quit. This upset his mother, but since he still kept to his training schedules his father was happy. This lasted until he was old enough for his parents to allow him to choose where it was that he wanted his life to go. At this time, he was unsure of exactly where he was going, but he was sure that he wanted to delve into his music more to see where that could take him. If all else failed, he would put his fighting abilities to use. This decision made his parents upset for a while but they decided to let him do what he wanted for the time being.
Due to his parents allowance of freedom, he was adopted a less than respectable lifestyle. He loved to live in the moment and do whatever he had the thoughts to do without any repercussions. His irresponsibility was at its peak. More time was spent partying and playing, drinking and sleeping, and sleeping with others. He didn't leave any time for his music even. Being indulgent was more important to him. His relationships with others at the time was nonexistent. As friendly as he was on a surface level, he was entirely self centered. There were many people that he hurt and he didn't care about it in the slightest. His ego and his stubbornness wouldn't allow for anyone to get through to him that tried to talk him out of this. This lasted until his brother had confronted him about it. He told him what the rest of his family was trying to tell him: that what he was doing was wrong and that he was going to end up hurt and alone sometime in the future. He explained to him in detail about the former friends that he had and what they currently thought about him in comparison to his new friends. He explained that his new friends were not friends and were just around him for the money and connections that he had. Dharma wasn't listening until his brother explained how hurt he was over the things that he did. Dharma was moved enough to be talked into a promise to better himself and get his focus back onto his music.

Dharma stayed with his parents until he moved out to live with an old close friend of his who had a little less than what he personally grew up with. He wanted to break off from his parents and learn to live on his own and for himself. At that time he was aware that he didn't really know how to do many things for himself. Basic things that it seemed that everyone should already know how to do for themselves. Especially at his age. Thankfully his friend helped him greatly, and he was able to grow up a little more. During this time alone, he learned how to tone down his impulses and set his priorities better. Being with someone else besides his family taught him to be more compassionate. He learned how to worry about someone that wasn't just himself. This new peace drove him to get back into doing what it was that he loved and set his heart on being a bard.
Lucky for him, he was a successful one and he enjoyed what he did more than how he imagined he would. One of his performances he was scheduled for a celebration. Whatever kind of celebration it may have been, a birthday, or just a general party, it was for a family. A rather large one. By the looks of them they were just as high class as his own family was, which appealed to him even more. The icing on the cake was a woman that he made friends with. After the celebration he decided to keep in touch with her. Her name was Yumi. He learned that she was a talented silversmith and she contained one of the kindest hearts that he'd ever met. They met up often and liked to spend time with each other more and more, until it was apparent that she had feelings for the him. This, for the first time, made Dharma confused. He knew of his past relationships and his inability to keep them for very long. Moreover his inability to stay committed to them. He was hesitant because he didn't want to end up hurting Yumi, so it took him a while before he would agree to the idea of them being together. After a couple talks with his friends he decided to give the relationship thing an actual shot and do what he could to stay true to her.
Around this time was also the time that Dharma began to pay more attention to the unrest of the kingdom that he called home. Why this unrest was happening, he had no clue and it was annoying to him. As he was usually one to believe to each his own, it seemed that some people were at a loss of mind. They were idiotic. Something like this shouldn't have been happening in the first place as things were perfectly fine before hand. Likewise, Dharma decided to keep his trust in the Queen as he and his family always had.
Even Bigger Boi
Dharma and Yumi's relationship was going very well, to his surprise. He made friends with her family and his own family loved her. She was a joy to be with and the two of them were completely happy together. It wasn't until there would be a third in the picture, that things took another turn. Upon the realization that he was going to be a dad, he panicked. He was deathly worried. He didn't know what to do and he didn't know if he would even be a good father. He just knew that he was bad with children and terrified of them. It took almost everyone he knew to talk to him and give him advice before he was able to cool down his worries a bit. Enough for him to be able to tell himself that he would do his best to try. Yumi, on the other hand, was worried about his commitment issues. She knew about his past as well and she feared for him to run off in the midst of everything. Worst case scenario was that he would leave after their child was born. To combat this and somewhat give him a less than gentle push to be more serious about everything was giving him the option of marriage. This terrified Dharma even more than the baby did, but he assumed it would make him a better father so he agreed to it. After that he decided to move out again and live with Yumi to begin their family unit.
After the both stressful and joyous birth of their daughter, Dharma seemed to evolve into a different man. Not too different, but much older than he used to behave. He learned to completely set his own needs aside and tend to his family first and foremost. He loved being a dad. He enjoyed making his daughter laugh and he enjoyed teaching her to sing with him. Of course there were the obvious downfalls and struggles that came with being a parent. Moreover he seemed to have a sort of brief "relapse" that would set him back completely. After a small performance that he had at a function that briefly brought him back to how things used to be. He enjoyed his time, but didn't realize what he was doing until after the fact that it was too late. He wasn't sure why he did it or how it led to it. One thing led to another. He still can't think to what brought him to completely forget about his family and think of himself. He was unfaithful, and the moment he could come to terms with what he did he knew that he had to come clean to Yumi. Unbeknownst to him, they were expecting a second which would contain an additional surprise to them later on. He found out when Yumi was in the midst of her anger, and she left him a reminder that he would never forget about. The scars on his face won't go away and will serve as a constant memory of how he wronged her.
After she was calm enough, Yumi allowed him a second chance, though her trust in him took a huge hit. Even a year later, she is still shaky on the subject of trust and is still wary of him, though they are happy together once again. The birth of their second and third brought them together again so that they could continue to give their children a proper home and provide for them best they can. Keeping up with one of them is a lot of work, let alone three, so Dharma asked his parents to move in with him. Grandparents do so happen to be the best babysitters.
Currently, he still keeps well with his family and does everything he can to continue to mend his relationship with Yumi as well as raise his children well. He once again has placed attention on the kingdom's three way divide, halfway wary and halfway excited to see what will happen with the growing tensions. He needs to know what will keep him and his family safe during these times and is not afraid to go at extreme lengths to do so.
