I'll tell you what, I wish I had those arms
Good expression in this. I like the abstraction you use.

the man made angel, searching for the false god he created. where is the hope that he lied to himself about? Where is the heaven that never was?...not being able to reach these self-imposed heights, the 'angel' stays in hell.

Great work sir.

This is amazing looking, the blending is great, and the mechanical wings are good touch. his face is also very cool.

im just wondering about something though.
since seeing how you incorporate acrylic into so many of your drawings effectivly i decided to give it a try too.
all my results are pretty horrible.
im just wondering if you lay down pain first and then draw over it?

truly wicked piece... reminds me of some of clive barkers early color pieces... the way the torso is elongated and the viens and muscles bulge through weak skin... really like the composition of this overall and the colors are great...

really really good stuff man, i love the texture you've managed in this, nice to see this sort of work done traditionally, i'd be too tempted to 'texture overlay/decrease saturation' hehe, respect, DA is being more and more screwy for non subscribers, i just submitted too, shows up in the gallery but not on my page, and it's been a good 30 or so hours, you'd think they would want to advertise properly by giving a service worth paying for, instead they're putting people off paying for what they see as a bad service

the texture/grittiness is wonderful. gives it the feeling of being in a pit or a well where there's only one opening. the coloring is also very well done. great piece!

This looks like there is, or should be, a story behind it. How did this naked mutant thing end up there and what happens next? Is this part of a series or comic or somthing? Maybe part of a storyboard. Just seems to be part of something bigger, maybe just me.

yeah thier is a abit of a story, I like the storyboard idea as well to catch my sum of this piece I responded to a comment on the top of this page check it out if you want and let me know what you think.

Great job...Lovin the red symbol amongst the darker, duller greys. The broken wings really work well aswell...like as if the guy wants to get to heaven but his wings won't carry him there. But I really do love the style of this. Great work! Keep it up!

to me the arrow in "red" is facing towards heavin or a better place and yeah they are wings, broken wings. I try to always cap. symbols in my art. I dont like to discribe them I would rather the viewer interpret thier own thoughts.

thanks for the comment.
