Description I painted this as a commision and is based off David Pu'u wave photography compositions. Painted in acrylic on canvas this painting is 5 x 3.5 feet. It took me about a week to compleate and I am very happy with it. This is one of the first large paintings/wave paintings I have attempted and I plan on continuing wave painting.

Awesome! I just started with wave painting (you can see a big wall painting of a wave in my gallery), and I absolutely love it! This piece is beautiful!

The strokes pose the peice as a little messy (still better than me so don't get discouraged or anything) I love how the sunset's waves curl within the wavers, gorgeous! I could track that bright orange line of light through the waves over and over again and not get dizzy (and trust me that's saying a lot out of my blonde brain). I've never worked with paints like such, but it was a very excellent attempt to blend blue into the reds of the wave.. but something tells me it could have been done better, though I wish I knew how. Fave!

This is extremely impressive; the lighting and colours are fantastic. Water is complicated enough to paint at the best of times, never mind waves. Great work.
