Scrappy was my pet Iguana and I painted her portrait for my boyfriend, Jed. But...unfortunatly during the 3 years it took me to finish this 5 x 2 foot painting, she passed away.Related content

Man I need to get some paints and try my hand at them, you make them look so good.
The only thing is that bizarre ocntrast of colors between her back/side and underbelly, the way the colors pose again'st each other give Scrappy a shiny effect... and I don't think I've ever met an iguana that was shiny.

Hmm, a very nice realistic painting. You pulled the texture off very well. Too bad about Scrappy, though... well, he's immoralized in paint, at least. More than can be said for most iguanas.
