Description
One of the two dolls for the final round of Miss Doll Fantasy. Inalea in a lovely ballgown that her family probably had specially made. I didn't want it to be a simple red gown so that's why I went in there with the gold to add some more detail. I liked how it worked with the top so the rest seemed like a good idea. The folds took a long time actually but I really like how it came out. she looks really pretty!Both dolls: Contest-485

the folds. holy crap the folds. Those are some nice folds, they look so satiny and very well placed for how random bunches of fabric are.
I quite like the gold detail and think it was a good idea to add to the resst of the dress so it's not a sea of red, it looks quite nice.
The details in the leaves/feathery bits look good an make them look more dynamic.
It's quite pretty.

i think i've been doing much better with folds and doing dresses like this are challenging. I'm glad everyone likes the addition of the gold, and that it worked out. I think orignally there was going to be more leaves/feathery bits but i think it would have been too much.
