This actually isn't anyway artistical and it's lacking many things. It would have been cool if there were something with opposite color, say red floating on the water for instance and composition could've been better. Now it's a bit monotone but I like it, whatsoever.You see, I had much fun shooting there. It's taken yesterday and it's just by the road between Jyväskylä and Äänekoski. Yesterday was rather foggy day and there was just this small layer of snow on ground.
People from passing cars stared at me as I was wandering around with my camera and laughing because I almost fell into that pond. I must have looked like an idiot. Haha.
For the technical part, this photo is somewhat overexposed and I pulled it a bit more in photoshop. Transformed into b/w and put slight but nice cyan/blue tone. D70+Nikkor 18-200VR

Vautsi. Näyttää aika hyvältä. Teillä on siellä ihan kivasti lunta. Täällä Imatra/Lappeenranta akselilla ruoho vihertää aika kivasti. Yhdyn mielipiteeseesi, että jokin toinen väri toisi kuvaan mukavasti kontrastia. Sen ei tarvitsisi olla kuin punainen kaulaliina tuolla oksassa, niin se muuttaisi kuvaa aika paljon.

Niinpä. Tuokin lumi suli pois. Jouluna sentään oli vähän lunta, mutta enimmäkseen vaan kuuraa.

Tässä tietenkin iskee toi kiero ristiriita eli lumimaisema mutta vesi ei ole jäässä. En tiedä oonko nähnyt tota yhdistelmää ennen ja jotenkin tässä tulee ihan uusi idea. Ulkoasu tuo mieleen lyijäripiirrustuksen, mikä on vakuuttavaa. Kun valokuva ilman manipulointia ei näytä valokuvalta, on yleensä onnistuttu.

Mitä kommentteihin tulee, niin ei pahemmin. En oo niin paljoa ottanut paineita kommenteista, että välittäisin. Varsinkin nyt, kun ei oo tullut subbailtua uusia kuvia niin paljoa ja vastaamaankin on päässyt vain harvoin. On aina mukava saada kehuja vaikka ne ei syvällisiä olisikaan. Sitä paitsi ne saa da-kielellä ns. kehittyneemmän kritiikin näyttämään paremmalta. Esim. sun, diamondien, viikan ja monien muiden kommentit ovat hienoja. Kiitos niistä!
Toivottavasti tätä mun kommenttia ei nyt sitten lueta ja ymmäretä väärin. Useimmiten tiedän, mikä kusee tai mistä pidän mun töissä. Siinä mielessä voisi ajatella, että palaute on turhaa. Mutta ihmiset kiinnittää huomion ihan eri asioihin, joten siksi otan aina vastaan parannusehdotuksia.
Toisaalta ihan vain hauskat tai muuten vain oivaltavat kommentit on parhaita
Tätä voitaisiin pohtia enemmänkin.

Yeah, it's beautiful and atmospheric even if not the most artistic thing. I think it would be nice if it was either softer somehow (as per its name) or had more contrast.

Itse pidän väreistä ja tunnelmasta, ja mielestäni ne sopii tähän kuvaan aika hyvin.
Haluisin tänne Etelä-Suomeen samanlaista säätä jouluksi mutta tuskin sitä tulee, se lumi alkaa varmaan tulemaan tänne vasta uudenvuoden jälkeen
