The three Dannys from Danny Phantom: Dani, Dan, and Danny. (not including brainwashed!Danny or HeroHalf!Danny or whatever)Thought I'd play with style stuff. Which version do you like most / is more appealing?
The first one's based on the show's style. The second one's the style I'd invented to possibly use for my possible fancomic. ...Then I wasn't sure what else to do, so I just drew them really quick. And for the fourth one I wanted to try really pushing the expressions and stuff. I had considered doing a 'realistic' version, but I didn't want to waste that much time. (...maybe I could combine the second and fourth ones to keep the more realistic stuff of 2 but also have a bit more oomph from 4...)
...it probably all looks alike to everyone besides me anyhow. :/

nicely done! I like Danny and Dan in the second style but Dani looks better in the fourth
tho the spikiness of Danny's hair needs to be more pronounced compared to the original style

Do you mean you think Danny's hair should be spikier in number 2, or just in general? It's hard to draw that hair from the front without doing a sideways cheat (but I want to figure it out). If he was facing the same way as Dani, his hair would look like hers but maybe slightly shorter (though Danny's does look a bit messier than Dani's in the original style...).
For some reason Dani's face just didn't want to work for me when I was drawing number 2, but it came pretty easy in number 4 (sometimes it's like my hand is saying, 'Nope, don't want to draw that right now'), so that might be part of why you think she looks better in 4. Or, it could be because I loosened up the pose a bit the more I drew her, so she looks more fluid in 4 than in 2.

well, spikier in all of the drawings you did that weren't in the original style -- looks a bit like a messy bowl-cut rn 
if it helps, I based these two of my OCs off of Danny, hair included (especially John's): Ghostlies

I'm cleaning up the lines a bit to put up a colored version right now. I tried adjusting Danny's hair, but I doubt it looks quite right still. It's just one of those things. A few months ago I saw my brother after he washed his hair but before he combed it, and it looked a lot like Danny's—but he held his hand in the way when I tried taking a photo.
