He sighed as they arrived, honestly not entirely too crazy about going to the event. He climbed down from where he sat going over to the door of the carriage. He then opened the door for her.

She smiled to him as he opened the door for her, "zhank jou," she said as she slowly stepped out, so there was no chance of her tripping on the dress and falling out, making a fool of herself and the duke.

He mused taking her hand, carefully taking her over, turning around "I suppose a simple waltz will be fine." he said as he then took her left hand putting his other hand on her hips. "....Just relax."

"a valtz vill be vine," she said as she looked to her hand then to his other hand when it rested on her hip before looking to his eyes and nods slightly, "ok" she responds as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

He nodded as he then started dancing with her, he honestly didn't want to be at the prom upon seeing what it was but he supposed that he needed to be there for the moment.

She calmly let him lead as they danced, her eyes every now and then glancing down to make sure her feet were where they were meant to be and smiled contently to him.

He continued to lead her through the dance, subtly content with the dance though he felt a little forced to dance he by all means didn't feel like complaining about it.

She half shut her eye lids as she listened to the music as they slowly danced.

He continued dancing with her, seeing she seemed possibly slightly drowsy or at least THAT was how he perceived it to be. He danced slightly slower bringing her slightly closer.Β

Her cheeks slightly darken when feeling him ring her closer to him as they danced along calmly, her content smile slightly widening.

The warmth of his form was rather infectious, it felt like a rather large toasty fire, or rather perhaps the warmth of the sun. His chest was pressed against hers, he danced with her a bit more slowly, looking around attentively and quickly to see if the dancing part was done.

She could feel the heat of his form radiating from him like a flame would, this made her feel relaxed some how. HerΒ eyes open fully again as she looked up at him slightly to see him looking around, her smile slightly faded as she could tell he really did not like this at all, "d-duke?" she softly spoke up as her face turn to look up at him.

He looked down "I'm not that much of a fan of dancing in public places... You aren't the cause of my discomfort... if anything I'm impressed by how good of a dancer you are...You don't seem at all as 'clumsy' as you claim to be." He said in a blank manner.

He chuckled slightly "Of course I would be, the only thing that amazes me is how you're just a little insecure about your own dancing..." He danced with her a little more quickly "You shouldn't concern yourself with me.."

He said as he brought her hand to his lips lightly kissing it as he then rolled his eyes resting it on his shoulder. "I don't fully understand what the point of that is...but apparently some noblewomen see that as some sort of form of...'attraction' or something like that... I don't fully understand it."Β
