Why do you get a piercing whenever you get a black eye from an 'air breather'? What's the connection?

"The first piercing I got was on the same day as I broke up with my then long term girlfriend, Melody. She was a fairy and a rather pretty one as well. I tried to be as good as possible with my words to her so I wouldn't get something sad or bad on me from her, I really don't like to get on her bad side.
I though didn't think that she would end up so upset over it? She was a sweetheart indeed but as well as a really clingy one, yanno? I need my distance sometimes as well.
Aaaanyway, so like, some few hours after I had broken up with her so did I go to get a piercing, my first one as well. It was mostly because I always had wanted one but also for being a free man again!
But though, as everything was fine and I just had gotten that needle though my fin and in the middle of all that so did my ex's brother come into the shop! I jumped till since I were not ready for it at all, like I was really not expecting it I tell ya!?
And- And then he like, flew-ran towards me and punched me??? In the face????!!! Really hard!!! And it actually did hurt a really lot???!!?!
I got a single black eye from his hit! I believe that was the beginning of me getting piercings at every 'air breather' black eye hit."
