Missy tries to make a disguise type potion to find her witch without scaring people with her dead form. She had Combat and Chris test it before she could, soon enough all scars on Combat and Chris vanish. With Missy, the temporary potion pulled the curse right out of her and turned the amulet into a state of sleep. Which gave Missy the look she had very long ago before putting the amulet on.
With Missy, it was a sad reminder of what she had done and who she lost
