Philippines: Sorry guys. But just 1 more week before the end of Ramadan, then we can have a fiesta!Admin: Does anyone know a website where I can get pictures of traditional Filipino clothes? Especially indigenous clothes and those from Muslim Mindanao. Cant seem to find detailed ones that I can use for reference.

Philippine: Theyre not fermented. theyre fertilized duck eggs. About at least 17 days old, long enough for the embryo to develop. Then you cook them like youre making hard boiled eggs. Theyre just scary looking, but theyre good. hehe

And scary looking...yes. I actually found some stores over here in the US selling them a few years back...although the eggs were closed.
We were there for the pancit...and some other Philippino foods.

Admin: Well... I guess Ramadan is given attention in a way that the government recognizes it and made the end of Ramadan a non working holiday. But if what you by 'attention' is that if the whole country celebrates it the same way as other Muslim countries do, well, I dont really know. Maybe in Muslim Mindanao or other part of the city with large concentration of Muslims. Sorry, Im catholic and I dont really know any Muslim personally. To most Christians in the Philippines, it would be like an extra day off, like how Christmas is to Muslims.

this is great! The ones I keep seeing are dance costumes, so the images are either blurry or too sparkly, or only shows the upper half. For some reason, I suck at online research. Or research in general.
