Description Noriko Takaya, the gutsy heroine of Aim for the Top!: Gunbuster. This is my second decent attempt at CG, and the first time I actually managed to pull off anime-style shading. I almost deleted the sketch of Gunbuster in the background, but when I messed around with negatives and blending I managed to make it actually look cool.

Sketch was done by 0.7 mechanical pencil on a sketch pad, digitized and colored in Photoshop 7.0. I don't ink, because I really really suck at it. I've ruined a lot of good sketches by inking. >_< Anyway, enjoy Noriko and all her cute, hot-blooded goodness.

SUPER INAZUMA KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK~!

She has one awesome anatomy figure! I like the design on her outfit. Her hair came out pretty good too.

Yana> I need a tablet. :/ I suck so badly at inking, so I avoid it. Thus, I'm not able to clean it up properly.

Maullar> That's the method I use. The white spaces are actually supposed to be the highlights, though I might have made them a bit too light.

Looks good, really good

What method are you using to CG? If you set the lineart layer to Multiply and have it on top, you can usually avoid having white spaces.

Cool background.

CG needs a little improvement though. Clean it up a bit and practice your CGing skills and it'll look great. <3 (Gah, did I use correct grammar? O__o;; )
