Sabrynn Charis Zedeckheim (the girl on the left) and Aslan Josiah Cross (guy on the right) in a cuter-than usual pose. I got tired of all the serious and pensive images I've drawn of this pair, so I decided to make Rynn less goth and angsty.

Both are original characters from the story I'm writing (It's original, not a fanfic), Sackcloth Sun. I don't think I'm ever going to get it done, but at least my character and mecha designs are improving.

While Aslan may look like the typical knight character to you, he's actually a former hitman. I could only put one sword into the picture without it looking awkward, but he actually dual wields a pair of identical long swords. They're single-edged like katanas, but have straight, wide blades. He can also duel with pistols (twin custom-made semiautomatic .357 pistols), but I was too excited to see how the pic would turn out so I left them out. I'll definitely draw him with the pistols later.

Rynn is a sniper. I didn't have a good reference picture on hand, but the rifle she's slinging is supposed to be based on a Barret M82A1. Since only the barrel and part of the muzzle brake are visible, one can't really tell.
