0_0 it was my first time EVER to try semi-realismI have only been admiring what other people has done for several days.....anddddd
finally I've got up my nerve and tried it!
AND YES I suck at backgrounds \(;^;\ )
i started the drawing on white background...
and at the end i have realized its somewhat too empty..
and I am not even sure whether it really looks like "semi-realism"....
haaaaaaaaaaaaa....... what should i do with the background? 'TTT_TTT I dont know.......................

I absolutely love this piece of art. It's spectacular, and I'm quite jealous of your artistic ability. This is definitely my favorite picture of Ulquiorra, thank you so much for sharing it on dA. It really captures his personality, at least that's how it seems to me. I don't even think it needs a background. Besides, you says the background seems too "empty", but Ulquiorra symbolizes the emptiness that kills humans, at least according to Arrancar #2 in Bleach, so that makes it even more perfect. If I were you, I wouldn't change a thing!

I love this! Idk about genres of art or art forms or anything, but this looks amazing
Only thing is his pupils don't look elongated enough, but I don't watch Bleach, I'm just an Ulquiorra fan, so they could be fine.
But if that's because you went for realism, then very well done. *clap*
