Not often do I actually have a legit reason to keep it greyscale. Thanks episode!
After hours pondering what scene to actually made, I ended with that slight eureka moment. Rainy Rarity and Rainbow Dash!!!
It has the things I was looking for, allowing for a basic pose which still has interesting aspects due to the surroundings.
Also, wetness.
Episode was really fun! Also fun to see the start of it actually continuing from the last episode. It was a great throwback to the old Film noir style. Although I didn't grow up with it, I just imagined it'd be fun for families with parents who have! Now their kids get a fresh taste of it as well.
The mystery and progression was pretty good as well. (and the credits music overriding all, including the Hasbro sound haha)
Anyhow, had some fun with the art. Not having to worry about colouring it hah.

I really love this one. I guess i could say that it's one of the most beautiful black and white contrast paintings I've seen. The perspective, and how the 3 dimensional factor really makes this piece pop! Another factor that adds to this piece is the emotion portrayed by the characters. The way how Rarity's determination is shown by the gleam of her eye's, then it contrasts to the depressed, and hopeless looking Rainbow Dash being drenched in a down pour. The detail is spot on to a tee. This looks like the perfect cover for a Rarity themed detective novel.+fav +fav +fav +fav +fav Clap

I have to agree this is a very good looking photo. I do love a good'ol grey scale picture, so much details.

I love how rarity's face is in more detail, with her body becoming slightly blurrier as it gets closer to her hooves. And the reflections of the water on the coat hooves mane and tail (also the reflections in the eyes). However, it is a bit strange how even though Rainbow Dash is in the background, she seems unaffected by the DoF. It makes it appear as if shes kind of floating (not in the shes hovering off the ground sense, but the misplaced sense). But yeah, other than that it looks great. The olny thing that i would suggest since you wouldn't want to take Rainbow Dash out of focus would be to maybe extend the DoF a bit and ad a bit more detail into the background. hope this was helpful.

I didn't return from my "quick one hour nap", as the nap suddenly turned itself into a slow ten hour nap, so I couldn't see how this picture came to be.
It's amazing, though. The rain looks so realistic. You should do more weather pieces.
