New addition for my First Contact War universe.

Yes, the changelings!
I was always planning on having them be a part of this universe. They will fill in their own role and impact the world in their own way. I have some ideas for it, but not necessarily decided on them. Felt like introducing them anyway!

They also allow for a lot of fun design opportunities. The Equines have all their different species and other hoofed subjects, the gryphons their bird types (and size), while the changelings have again another unique approach. Somewhat more insect like, but also combined with... organic stuff. Growing carapace and other types of things. Not even mentioning their changing ability. Which I have some concept for as well. (specifically since this one has slightly equine shaped features)

Anyhow. As for creating this one, it did give me plenty of struggles. In the WIP you can see a drastic crop, cutting out a lot of extra space, including several other changeling. I wanted to keep this a single session piece, so I made some sacrifices. I could've done a more rough piece while keeping the larger scale, or scale it down and do more details. I chose the latter.
