Description

In this second feature, Betty - dolled up as always - is kidnapped and tied to a revolving mechanism in the cellar of a theatre used to automate stage elements above. The idea here is that she'll be crushed by the gears as the wheel turns about. She is tied thoroughly from torso to ankle with heavy rope and gagged to prevent her from crying out and risking that theatre patrons above hear her.

The Shield saves the day, as expected. To see two full treatment scenes in a single book is rare even in this heyday of beautifully classy bound dames - this is the kind of thing you'll usually only come to expect in Nyoka books. I have a few rare ones from those books too, but Nyoka is all over the internet as the rightful damsel legend she is.

Back to Betty - this is my favourite damsel discovery in a while so enjoy! I have a few more scenes of hers to post that'll I'll get to soon.
