Description Let us all take a moment, and remember my lovely black pencil, who gave its life for this picture.

Yeah, anyways, ain't he fabulous?

I took a break from my commission work to just relax and draw something different. So I came up with a more realistic version of Jasha. I rather think it turned out well. (note the manly facial scar ladies )

I used graphite pencils, colored pencils and chalk pencils. I also used soft pastel to smooth the background over a bit.

Hes mine. The picture is mine. Even his (manly) facial scar is mine. Don't take. Don't use. Don't do anything without my permission. Except commenting and favs. Do that. Do LOTS of that No. Seriously. Comment and fav. Please.

HOT!
Damm it women, why are you so good?

Those eyes are amazing! Intensely real.
I love the way you made some of the eyelashes white, quite a nice touch.
Out of curiosity, how did you achieve those wonderful highlights in his eyes (and lips to some degree) ?
Did you wait till you finished and then went over it with white, or did you simply not draw in that spot the entire time to get it to look as it does?

Anyway, another awe inspiring piece

Why thank you very much. I suppose its just my cross to bear.

My highlights, as well as the eyelashes, are done with a lovely white pastel I have. The thing is wonderful, it shows up on anything. I do have to draw around the marks (for example the lashes) to fine them down to the proper shape, but it works very well. If you don't have anything like that, you could always use white paint, I have seen that done and it works fine.

Hope that helped, and thanks for your feedback!
