I'm going to make a suggestion in design for the bustline. Instead of gathering at the center and sides of the breasts make the teardrop shape using 3 pieces. one piece for the top of the teardrop shape and two pieces for the bottom of the breast with the riveting you used to connect the pieces together. The bottom of the top piece needs to have a curve to make it possible to form a conical shape using this method. This would make less bulk in the leather to deal with and allow you to adjust the fit to the individual woman in question. If you can give a woman the bustline she wants you will be a popular guy.

This is an old work, I learn to make better since and I should remove this piece from my gallery. I disassembled this armor a long time ago.
In fact, I made a fetish bustier using the method you described. Sewing according to and old bra allowed me to make something nice.
Unfortunately, there are some work of mine I cannot decently post here ^^ Too much black leather and chains...

Not yet, currently working on a male black leather dragonscale. (and then several pairs of gloves, another helmet, misc gears, dual baudriers, one plowshare and finally this one..)

The leather could do with tightening up in places, but I like the design.

Oh yeah, the least I can do to atone the fact I've made such a disgrace to ladies' garnements is fixin' the chest part !
There is many things that went wrong on this one, design and realisation. I'll put another shoot once all is fixed, but that will take a while. This was my first time doing a lady costume and I'm still uneasy with all the curves.
