As an actual "Scout-version" of the AT-ST or a prototype? In Galactic Battlegrounds, they were treated as a predecessor.

As a separate type of walker from the AT-ST. It's called the All Terrain Defense Pod (AT-DP) in NuCannon. Look it up on wookiepedia if you want more info on it.
