Personality:
Opal has always been a tomboy out of both neccessity and enjoyment. The streets of thieftown are tough and she didn't want to be home as much as possible. To say she was on guard a bit is an understatment, but in comparison she walks the streets with confidence now no matter where she is at. Friendly and a total romantic with little ability to deal with commitment relationship wise. She has a passionate drive that doesn't seem to sputter when it comes to things she likes activity wise. It makes work/life balance difficult, but she is determined all the same. She enjoys a bit of lighthearted michief or the occassional troll on some fool.

Background:
Her father left the picture before she was born. Her mother became an alcholic under the preassure of raising a child on her own. She was too determined to give up her child though. Opal hated being home and often would hang around on the streets with a small kitchen knife on hand in case of trouble. Some kids had their own groups, some had taken toys from her, and for the most part she was just trying to find a place that was better than going home too early in those early days. She eventually ran into Axel, another kid in the neighborhood she never saw too much of before. During another attempt to figure out if she could run away from home no less. They made a clubhouse which eventually was used by homeless or taken apart, but it was the start of the self made family these two desprately wanted.

As Opal approached her tweens legalities finally took her from her mother's care, and she was placed in the care of her aunt who lived on Anura. While she was separated from her best friend she got the chance to adjust to a semi normal family life. Her Uncle had passed on a long time ago while her aunt was a loving/busy office worker. Her cousin taught her about riding bikes and had her help him fix his own dirtbike often before leaving it in her care, when he moved off the islands. She even made another friend, Nami. While playing at a playground she saw some kids participating in keep away with some girl's sunhat. The girl was practically in tears from what she saw and so she ran in to punch whomever was holding it at the time in order to get it back. She definitely recalls getting in trouble for her actions, but all she can tell you now that her vision went red after she ran toward the group.

She eventually introduced her two friends and started really patching together a new sense of family none of them had before. They moved out of their homes after highschool and lived in an apartment on Seriseri back in theiftown for a time, before Nami moved to Nomie to live with her boyfriend due to legal issues. Her and Axel moved into the apartment on Lyrica that Nami's cousin Ciar, was using previously. By then she even had a gig playing music at a bar in thieftown on the weekends late at night while she works at Nami's repair/fireworks shop, Bada Boom, on Nomie during weekdays.

Fun Facts:

- If she wanted to, she could possibly pursue a full on music career, but prefers to stick with smalltime bar gigs and balancing that with mechanic work at the repair shop. Maybe though she would like a permanent position and place to jam out in lyrica town instead of thieftown, but while the times are consistent, the venue varies a bit.

- Has a garage band with Nami on electric keyboard, axel on drums, and herself on guitar. They get together every week or two for lil jam sessions at the apartment. Sometimes they try out dance moves out on the sidewalk, play vocal games, and they enjoy trying out covers of other songs for practice and fun. They've even been getting Nami's cousin, Lian, in on some of these activities to help him open up a bit playfully or watch on the sidelines when he needs space.

- Incredible disaster lesbean with commitment issues. Though perhaps that's because she is fairly committed to the platonic practically married life she has with Axel. Neither of them seem bothered enough to talk about what some might consider the elephant in the room for it is just a mouse. She has at least 10 crushes and idolizes the famous Arietta on top of having a crush on her.

- Her grease monkey habits often prohibit nice and cute clothes, but since she has a decent living now she has been trying to fill her closet with cute and afforadable clothes. Her most fashion worthy crime is her habit of wearing sandles and socks together.

- She still sews, but they are very long and ongoing projects she can only spend time on occassionally, She wants to make herself a cool/cute stage costume and has a small sketchbook she'll doodle her ideas in.
