Okay, first time doing a critique really, hope I do well....
The dark shading from inside the house really nicely contrasts with the light outside, and may I say that I love your cat. I love mixed breeds, but I love Siamese cats even more. In fact, my cat is part Siamese as well e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="

thankyou again, and you are doing an excellent job at critiquing. I did have a siamese (Jezebelle) and they are beautiful intelligent cats. This is a scan of a photograph of the painting so its not the best resolution. I cannot remember how much detail was in the eyes because of the backlighting but I definitely know they were not glowing

thanks Daniel, it was the simplicity that appealed to me (for a change), I like sepia coloured images, love those old photos and would like to experiment using modern imagery in a sepia/textured/grainy/scratched painting. Loved the colour of the movie "Carnivale"
I have too many ideas, not enough hours and I am spending too much time on DA, I am going to have to ban myself soon.

I love backlighting, and this kitten was the most beautiful, my friend took her so I watched her grow up, she stayed very small(miniature), with these amazing green eyes and chocolate siamese points.
The combination of Rembrandt and Jezebelle did produce beautiful Tonkinese kittens, it was a shame that Jezebelle had so much trouble giving birth.

This was one of my kittens. I was going to breed Tonkinese but only had one litter as it was totally traumatic for the mother and I. (Plus the vet bill was unbelievable) They were very cute though.
