A view of a multiple star system from the surface of a frozen moon orbiting a gas giant where two of the primary stars are embraced in the throes of their gravitational connections. Plasma from the binaries, one a blue giant star and the other a yellow mid-size star, mingle as the blue giant slowly devours its yellow companion.

Nice. ^_^ That whole top right quarter of the "primary stars devouring each other" could probably have been put on it's own piece and this would STILL be totally awesome. If not better. At least in my opinion.

Thank you. It is interesting that you should say that about the top portion of the painting for I actually did use just that part when I featured it in the past. I agree with you that it can and does stand alone well.

That's RIGHT!!! I THOUGHT it looked kind of familiar. Why did you decide to make it a view from far off in another one? Just good enough to repeat, or was there another reason?

Actually I was experimenting with the binary plasma concept previously and decided to photograph it to keep for reference. I posted it and later developed it into the final painting here.
