So this episode starts with Adrien watching a news interview with Scarabella and Kitty noir. Also Clara needs to mind her beeswax with their love lives. Adrien is also now very lonely without Plagg. Speaking of which. Plagg and Zoe are such a great duo. His reaction to the hotel having the biggest cheese supply in Paris and him hiding in her hat. Wholesome stuff. Meanwhile we get a truly majestic scene. GABE GOES INTO FULL SONG AND DANCE OVER HIS EXCITEMENT. And he got the moves. He proudly flexes knowing the identities to Nathalie and the kwami's. And sets up a master plan to catch them. He'll akumatize someone to lure them out and do what he did in illusion and absorbs the powers of the horse, rooster, bee and mouse. It's nice seeing them try to help out without their powers. Also It's wholesome how Mr. Damocles seems to be in on it. We then see Chloe throw a tantrum over Adrienette before being pun in her place by the class. I hate how there so quick to defend her from Chloe. YET ARE SO IDIOTIC AROUND LILA! ESPECIALLY ALYA. I haven't reviewed revolution yet, but let's just say that it made Alya unworthy of Marinette's trust. So the tiny invisible invulnerable Monarch's then put their plan into motion and akumatizes Chloe into Bootleg Sole crusher, and freezes Alya and Zoe before they can transform. Also, Gabe... You can't follow Alya into the bathroom, AND GO INTO THE STALL WITH HER! But, anyway. Gabe won. He got both Miraculous. What could possibly go wrong for him now? Well Tikki and Plagg somehow resist the transformation long enough for both of them to use their powers. And I call Bullcrap on this. It's established that the Kwami's have to obey their holders. AND GABE'S THEIR HOLDER. Also a moment of silence for Plagg's sacrifice. And if Gabe didn't make himself invulnerable HE'D BE DEAD. So Marinette then gets a lucky charm that Tikki made and puts two and two together. Tikki then explains to Monarch that if he want's the ring back he's gonna have to find the lucky charm and use the miraculous ladybug. Marinette then shows up wearing armor that covers up her face and has a fake lucky charm. ONLY TO TROLL MONARBUG SOME MORE. I feel bad for the guy. Also his suit is decent. And as if Gabe hasn't suffered enough, The resistance charge in and take the earrings. Gabe, I'm sorry. You deserved this win. So Tikki and Plagg go back to Marinette and Adrien. And we get a nice ending with the duo toasting their Kwami's and resistance. That's nice.
