Stupid scanner, this looked more lickably-tastey in real life...oh well...TRADITIONALS! I decided to take a break from digital art today so I decided to do this one in prisma colored markers and colored pencils.
Vaati is a cool villain, I think there should be more art of him too. He DID piss me off in the game during the final battle, I almost smashed my game system because of him (stupid damn eye ball monster...) but I still like him.
Man this guy and his blues and purples. I didn't think I would have the correct colors for him...and I did!! 'Cept for his face though >.>
LOL got lazy with the background I got scared I would ruin all my hard work...

Wow, this is very incredible! The shading is so realistic here, and everything is so detailed. I love the addition of the dripping blood fingers. His expression is very fitting for this picture. This is by far the best drawing of Vaati I've ever seen. Outstanding job!

I was thinking of drawing my own version of Vaati, but I'm colorblind, and can't tell blue from purple. What exactly is blue and what's purple, in terms of his clothes, eyes, hair, etc?

As far as his colors he's more of a bluish-purple but his hair is lavender, his tunic is light bluish-purple, his hat and cap dark bluish-purple, and his eyes are red.

I love how he's all creepy-like. Sure, he's awesome being weirdly adorable like in Minish Cap, but this really rocks.
Vaati is amazing. 
I don't care whether he's creepy or cute, I just want to see his Hylian/non-monster-form again in a game! He is likely not to be distracted by shiny objects*cough*fishing pole*cough* like Ganondorf is, after all!

Very nice! I get the same way about drawing back rounds sometimes too. I am not especially good at drawing a uniform color, so my people just usually float on my page. Or have a shadow on nowhere lol

I think that Minish Cap over-chibified Vaati. He's not as menacing as he should be in his humanoid form.

I thought Zant was Vaati at first. When he took half his mask off, his face looked purple and I was all 'IS THIS VAATI? IS THIS VAATI?!".
