I drew this as a little break of the other things I'm drawing right now. That and I needed to draw something dark and foreboding. Not only that, but I haven't drawn little Vaati in a long while. ^-^ BEST LOZ VILLAIN, EVAR!Enoy! ^^

While the background could use some work, it's a great picture. The evil and foreboding theme are quite strong. That and I am fangirling all over this guy. But at least only on quality artwork, so it's a compliment for you nevertheless.

I'll be more than willing to give you a briefing! =3 Vaati first appeared in Four Swords that came along with the GBA version of A Link to the Past. Though at first his appearance looked like this: [link] His second appearance was in the Gamecube game Four Swords Adventures where he was a minor villain to Ganon again with the same look as in the previous game. Vaati finally got his human form, however, when Minish Cap finally came out where he was the main villain. And he looked like this: [link] But if you want to know his background and stuff, they explain it pretty well here: [link]

I like the expression....all haughty and unimpressed, and slightly cranky to boot. Not the least because it matches my own conception of him so well.
